Le Khoa was born and raised in Hoc Mon (Ho Chi Minh City), he is a Vietnamese singer, songwriter, and producer living in the US, with a passion for music, especially Vietnamese music, he I want to introduce my image and myself to Vietnamese audiences.

Le Khoa has been singing since I was 10 years old. He participated in music competitions, in which he was one of the top 10 male singers in the X Factor Vietnam competition. Le Khoa faced family difficulties to pursue his dream of studying at Ho Chi Minh City College of Culture and Arts when he was only 18 years old. Then in 1016, at the age of 20, he settled in the United States with his family in Wichita, Kansas (USA).

Le Khoa's family's migration to America with the hope of reuniting changed the entire lives of the members. Khoa's brother was stuck in Vietnam, only his parents and Le Khoa were able to go to the US to reunite with his sister's family.

Coming to America, Le Khoa's family was scattered. Khoa's mother followed her sister to work in another state. Khoa lives with his father but hardly sees each other because they both work hard all day.

At the age of 20, Le Khoa became disillusioned in America. To survive, Khoa had to clean toilets, wash cars, clean houses..., a far cry from his previous life in Vietnam of only eating and studying. The weather in Wichita (Kansas, USA) is very harsh. In winter, the snow is white and cold, and in the summer it is hot and sunny.

From an open cultural environment like in Vietnam, coming to America to live, Le Khoa almost fell into a state of depression due to loneliness. But then music contributed to helping Khoa grow up. Rock helps Khoa unleash his inner wild energy, but to express his complex inner concerns, Khoa needs more world music, electronic, ambient, contemporary folk...

In 2017, from the US, Khoa sent his compositions to a series of Northern music stars with the sole wish of being shared. Because only when he came to America did Khoa discover Vietnamese music... worth listening to. Northern artists and their music awakened the "basic instinct" in Khoa, causing a person who had only listened to European and American music all his life to finally find music in his mother tongue.

Among the artists Khoa sent demos to, one person who responded was musician Le Minh Son. Surprisingly, Le Minh Son, who is very meticulous, agreed to cooperate and in 2018 they released the album Le Khoa singing Le Minh Son.

After the album Le Khoa sings Le Minh Son, while continuing to work to pay off the album's debt, Le Khoa and Mexican artist Josué Estrada released the album WAR, broadcast on the online music service platform. WAR's idea convinced studio engineer Bob Olhsson, who was nominated 11 times and won the prestigious American Grammy Award four times, to work as the sound engineer for this album.

"We didn't think he would accept. When he heard the album idea, Bob Olhsson said he had spent his whole life searching for justice because his mother was a slave. He felt that we young people had said something that had been true all our lives. His art work was not yet able to express himself, so he accepted to participate," Le Khoa said.

The idea of the album WAR comes from the paradoxes in life, the internal conflicts within people that cause war. WAR is the thoughts of Le Khoa and Josué Estrada, who feel that their voices are only a "minority" in America and want to raise their voices.

The desire to raise their own voices will be fulfilled by these two independent artists during the WAR introductory tour in the US and Mexico next June.

The highlight of the Vietnam Idol 2023 live show is the appearance of Le Khoa, a contestant in the casting round in the US. Right from the moment he appeared, Le Khoa made a strong impression with his fashion style and confident and liberal communication style.

Sharing about his previous opportunity to be present at the Vietnam Idol casting in the US, Le Khoa said that for a long time the male contestant had not had the opportunity to return to his home country of Vietnam. And when he learned that the Vietnam Idol program was holding a casting session in the US, Le Khoa decided to participate to experience it.
